Enjoy a Relaxing and Pleasant Stay with Armidale Cottages B&B
Armidale Cottages offers you a warm and friendly welcome to a quality family run B&B accommodation on the West Coast of Cumbria. Your comfort is our utmost priority and you are assured of our personal attention.
Originally two cottages built over 100 years ago, the first cottage was built in the late 1600s and is one of the oldest properties in the Village of Seaton.
The cottages have been lovingly renovated to a very high standard, retaining many of the original features - a stone staircase, oak beams, a large walk-in inglenook fireplace, wooden and stone floors fill the cottage with old world charm – creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere for your stay.
Whether on holiday, passing through or when on business, Sue and Fred will endeavour to make your stay as pleasurable and relaxing as possible at Armidale Cottages.
Treat yourself to a stay in our luxurious B&B on the edge of the Lake District
Local Area – with easy access to the Lake District
Our B&B is located in the village of Seaton, which nestles between the towns of Workington, Cockermouth and Maryport. Seaton is an old village with easy access to the picturesque coastal plains of the Solway Firth with its stunning views towards the Scottish mountains, and fells of the Lake District. Derwentwater, Bassenthwaite Lake, Crummock Water, Buttermere and Loweswater are all a short drive away.
Being situated on the west coast of Cumbria, Armidale Cottages B&B offers fast and easy access to the most popular tourist areas and sites in and around the Lake District.
We are also close to the Coast 2 Coast route (C2C), so we are ideally located for a walking or cycling holiday to break away from it all.
